| Description | The dataset contains data on local levies for the use of public tourism and recreation infrastructure in Kaunas City Municipality (tourist bed tax) as declared to the municipality. Declarations are submitted by natural and legal persons providing accommodation services in Kaunas. The object of the dataset is a declaration for a single accommodation facility. Data are available from 2017 to the present. The dataset indicates the type of declarant (natural or legal person), their activity according to the Classification of Economic Activities (EVRK), declaration start and end dates, amount payable, and data on overnight stays provided. Bed tax is not charged for children under 18 and educational institutions when premises are rented for study purposes. Persons with disabilities with a working capacity of 0–40% and persons receiving medical rehabilitation services financed from compulsory health insurance funds are also exempt; their overnight stays are included in the dataset.
