Description In the Governance Coordination Centre (GCC) system “Financial and Non‑financial Data of State‑Owned Enterprises”, information has been collected since 2019 and updated up to the present. The dataset includes: date of data validity, company register (JAR) code, name, sector, indication whether it is in the portfolio of state‑owned enterprises (SOEs), legal form, overseeing institution, state ownership share, gross profit, operating profit, income tax, net profit, non‑current and current assets, post‑current‑year income and expenses, total assets, share capital, ordinary and revaluation reserves, retained earnings, current year liabilities, post‑current‑year liabilities and total liabilities. One record corresponds to one company in a given year. The state ownership share is expressed as a percentage with two decimal places; all other figures are in thousand euros. Negative values indicate the opposite of the measured attribute (e.g. negative profit means losses). The opened dataset will not be updated.
