Description The source of this dataset is the Register of the Names of Citizens of the Republic of Lithuania compiled by the State Commission of the Lithuanian Language (VLKK). It was created on the basis of the names of persons who had citizenship in 2006 according to the Population Register and is continually supplemented with newborns’ names. Data in the dataset have been collected since 2010 and are updated every 3 months. The data include the full name, the number of constituent names (name components), name gender, standardness (conformity to linguistic norms), whether it is a saint’s name, date of name entry, latest update and search dates, number of searches, and up to 5 groups, subgroups and subsections of name origin.
