| Description | The dataset contains data on complaints received by the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority from the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR / EGS) platform from 2015 to the present. The Online Dispute Resolution platform was established by the European Commission to ensure easier and faster dispute resolution. It enables consumers to conveniently initiate out‑of‑court dispute resolution online. A consumer who has purchased goods or services online in Lithuania, other EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway may submit complaints via this platform to defend their infringed rights. Companies receiving complaints are not obliged to respond to them. The ODR system is planned to be phased out, so the complaint data will become archival.
