Description The dataset provides data on certificates issued to Lithuanian energy sector workers stored in the Energy Workers Certification Information System (EDAIS) from 2024. It includes information on the issued certificate (authorisation granted, area and sector of activity, validity period) and on the certification performed by the certification body (name of the body, examination date and place). Supervision of energy workers’ certification is one of the functions of the National Energy Regulatory Council (VERT). The Law on Energy of the Republic of Lithuania stipulates that workers who install and operate energy facilities and equipment must be appropriately qualified and prepared to perform the necessary tasks. Properly certified workers ensure safe, efficient and high-quality installation and/or operation of energy equipment, contributing to the sustainable functioning of the energy sector.
