| Description | Dataset on the number of Lithuanian permanent residents travelling abroad, the number of their trips and overnight stays and their purposes, by sex, age, main means of transport used, type of accommodation establishment, country visited and travel expenditure. Data are presented by destination country, purpose of trip, type of accommodation establishment, period and age. Classification used: Classification of Countries and Territories of the World. Statistical observation unit: residents aged over 15 returning from abroad. Statistical target population: trips made by residents returning from abroad. Trips where the main purpose in the visited territory is paid work are excluded. Geographical coverage: the entire economic territory of the country. Time coverage: from 2005, quarterly and annual.
