| Description | Radiology image archiving information systems used in healthcare institutions store data on radiological examinations performed for patients. Depending on the institution and the information system used, the time coverage and update frequency of the data may differ, although most datasets are updated daily. The datasets include such variables as the patient’s pseudonymised personal code, examination study identifier and date, patient’s year of birth, sex, weight and height, examination series identifier, description and modality, data on the body part examined, medical image identifier, radiation dose in decigrays per square centimetre, exposure in arc seconds, and photometric interpretation.
