Description The dataset presents data on elections of eldership representatives (seniūnaičiai) held in Vilnius City Municipality since 2019. The territory of Vilnius City is divided into elderships, which are further subdivided into smaller administrative units – seniūnaitijos. A seniūnaitis is a community or residential area representative elected on a voluntary basis who exercises rights and duties established by law. By decision of the Vilnius City Council, a seniūnaitis receives a monthly allowance of 30 euros to cover expenses related to their activities. More information on the rights and duties of seniūnaičiai is available at https://vilnius.lt/savivaldybe/seniunijos… . Each dataset record represents the result of one candidate in the elections. The dataset includes election data (election date, start and end dates of voting, round) and information on candidates (eldership, seniūnaitija, candidate’s name and surname, objectives of the electoral programme, number of votes received, and an indicator of whether the candidate was elected). The data provider is the Administration of Vilnius City Municipality.
