Description The dataset provides quarterly revenue (excluding VAT) of accommodation service providers by type of accommodation. Definitions: Accommodation establishment – a local kind-of-activity unit providing paid short-term accommodation services to tourists. Revenue from accommodation services – revenue of the accommodation establishment earned during the reporting period for accommodation services provided to tourists. Revenue from catering, medical treatment, rehabilitation and other services provided to tourists is included if it is incorporated into the price of the accommodation service. Statistical population: legal entities providing accommodation services, regardless of their main economic activity, classified under the following NACE Rev. 2 section I groups: 55.1 – hotels and similar accommodation, 55.2 – holiday and other short-stay accommodation, 55.3 – camping grounds, recreational vehicle parks and trailer parks (hereinafter NACE Rev. 2 section I, groups 55.1, 55.2, 55.3); and natural persons providing accommodation services to tourists under a business certificate (codes 010, 043 in the “Business Certificate Classification”) and/or under an individual activity certificate and engaged in accommodation activities (NACE Rev. 2 section I, groups 55.1, 55.2, 55.3).
