Description Dataset on Lithuanian permanent residents travelling abroad: number of travellers, their trips, number of overnight stays and purposes, main mode of transport used and type of accommodation during the trip, travel expenditure, sex and age. Presented by country, purpose of trip, type of accommodation, period and age. Classifications used: Classification of Administrative Units and Populated Areas of the Republic of Lithuania (LR AVGVK 2018); Classification of Countries and Territories of the World. Statistical observation unit: residents aged over 15 returning from abroad. Statistical population: trips of residents returning from abroad; trips where the main purpose is paid work in the destination territory are excluded.
