| Description | Radiological examination data for patients are collected in X‑ray image archiving information systems used by personal health care institutions. Depending on the institution and the information system used, the time coverage and update frequency of the data may differ, although most datasets are updated daily. The datasets include variables such as the patient’s pseudonymised personal code, examination study identifier and date, patient’s year of birth, sex, weight and height, examination series identifier, description and modality, data on the examined body part, medical image identifier, radiation dose in decigrays per square centimetre, exposure in arc‑seconds, and photometric interpretation.
