Description The dataset contains data on Lithuanian permanent residents (hereinafter residents) travelling abroad: the number of travellers, their trips, number of overnight stays and purposes, the main type of transport used and type of accommodation during the trip, as well as trip expenditure. The data are presented by destination country. Classifications used: World Countries and Territories Classifier. Statistical observation unit: residents aged over 15 returning from abroad. Statistical population: trips made by residents returning from abroad. Trips whose main purpose in the visited territory is paid work are excluded. Geographic coverage: the entire economic territory of the country. Time coverage: from 2005. Periodicity: quarterly. For questions related to the data, please contact atverimas@stat.gov.lt.
