| Description | The dataset provides data on persons who were granted the status of participant in resistance to occupational regimes pursuant to points 3, 5 and 20 of Article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the Lithuanian Centre for the Study of the Genocide and Resistance of Residents of Lithuania. It also provides information on state awards granted to these persons in accordance with Article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the Recognition of the Legal Status of Participants in the 1940–1990 Occupations’ Resistance and on the Equivalence of Military Ranks and Awards of Volunteer Soldiers. The dataset includes a person’s year of birth, the municipality of the data provider, the legal status granted to the person, its code, name and description, as well as the date of the order granting this status and the number of the certificate issued. This information allows identification of the grounds and date on which a person was granted the status of participant in resistance to occupational regimes and the document confirming it.
